It’s Yum Cha Time! Join me in my little yurt this school holidays to talk all things yum cha. We’ll take an imaginary trip to Asia and learn all about the different popular yum cha dishes. Har Gao, Siew Mai, Turnip Cake, Deep Fried Taro, Chicken feet and so on!

Using a variety of art supplies, we will paint, draw, tape, glue, embellish and even work with squishy air dry clay to create our very own Yum Cha Restaurant Diorama! This workshop will be the perfect class for creative makers who absolutely love tinkering about creating tiny things! Best of all, we get to bring home our finished restaurants with a warm fluffy bao in hand. ( Yes, everyone gets a yummy finale snack - of course! )

For Ages Prep to Year 6

Location: Kingsville/Yarraville

All art materials, including comfortable art smocks will be provided for the children. BYO Drink bottle + a fruit snack if you think your child might get hungry.

Maximum of 8 children per class.

PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL BE EATING STEAMED BAOS/ BUNS AT THE END OF THE CLASS. IF YOUR CHILD HAS ANY ALLERGIES, PLEASE LET ME KNOW UPON SIGNING UP.

**If your child is ill/down with covid/flu, please do not turn up. Booking refunds/exchanges or swap of days for workshops are not available. If your child can’t attend the class, do let us know and you are more than welcome to send another child in their place. If you are unable to fill the spot, your class fee can be credited towards a future art workshop.
