10 am to 1 pm ( Lunch inclusive )

Everyone loves fried rice and I do too! During this session, we will draw, paint and create a fun abstract drawing inspired by colourful fried rice ingredients. The art activity will be a fun way to look at line work and shape. We’ll focus on overlapping our drawings before going in with lots of paints. We’ll be blending, experimenting colours and inventing new shades! A super fun process art -type session. Perfect for kids who love mixing paints!

After all the art making, we will then proceed to enjoy a time of food prep + cooking! Everyone will help wash, peel, chop ingredients. We’ll then have a go at frying everything up to create the most delicious fried rice ever!

Leave the lunchbox packing for the school term. With this workshop, lunch will be sorted and tummies will be filled! : )

For Ages Prep to Year 6

Location: Yarraville

All art materials, including comfortable art smocks will be provided for the children. BYO drink bottle. Lunch is provided for this class. Please notify Dawn if your child has any allergies.

Maximum of 8 children per class.

**If your child is ill/down with covid/flu, please do not turn up. Booking refunds/exchanges or swap of days for workshops are not available. If your child can’t attend the class, do let us know and you are more than welcome to send another child in their place. If you are unable to fill the spot, your class fee can be credited towards a future art workshop.
